This Pebble Beach proposal is a perfect example that you don’t have to propose at sunset. Though we have gorgeous, moderate weather here year-round, you never know what the weather will look like at any time of the day due to our microclimates. I actually really love the dreamy fog we often have, and it really softens the light, making the world a perfect softbox.

Another benefit to proposing earlier in the day is that you don’t have to compete with the crowds that often come with evening time. Tyler had lunch planed in Carmel and proposed on a small beach off 17 Mile Drive on the way down the coast. It’s the perfect, natural way to surprise your partner and help make the moment feel natural, which is always my goal.
