Carmel Beach Sunset Proposal

Alex planned a beautiful sunset proposal on the beach in Carmel while he and his girlfriend Ashna were on vacation in the seaside town. Carmel Beach is a special spot for them to come to while on the central coast, and meant a lot to them to get engaged there. In order to surprise Ashna, Alex arranged a dinner at a local restaurant and suggested a romantic walk on the beach before dinner to enjoy the view. I love this approach in order to make a proposal feel natural, as well as ensure your partner is dressed up for the big moment. Be sure to actually have dinner reservations for later in the evening- you don’t want a hangry fiance.

I love this beach for proposals because it is always busy enough that it’s quite easy for me to hide in plain site. It also has Pebble Beach framing one side, and some dramatic, rocky low cliffs on the other. You can’t go wrong proposing at Carmel Beach!
