Garrapata State Park Proposal in Big Sur, CA

Steven planned a romantic surprise proposal for Alice along the Big Sur coastline at Garrapata State Park. Alice was so surprised and had no idea that Steven had brought her there to ask her to marry him. After he proposed and the immediate shock wore off, we walked around the cliffs of Garrapata to celebrate their engagement with some romantic photos.
This shoot is a reminder that not every session or proposal has to be at sunset to be beautiful- this took place at 2pm in the afternoon on a sunny October day. If you are considering Big Sur for your engagement or proposal, I highly recommend Garrapata State Park. Just remember that there is no cell phone reception there so plan ahead!
