Carmel-by-the-Sea and Point Lobos Engagement Session

Kate and Rob chose downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for their late summer engagement session. Carmel-by-the-Sea is the perfect backdrop for a romantic seaside engagement session. With all of the colorful flowers hanging over shops and fun doorways and stairwells, the town is perfect to wander and find inspiration.

After finishing photographing around town, they did a quick outfit change and we drove down to Point Lobos to walk their favorite hiking loop to catch a gorgeous sunset over the Pacific. Kate and Rob did exactly what I tell my couples at the start of the session- relax, have fun, and be yourselves. When you stay connected as a couple it allows me to see how you are together, and draw inspiration to help guide you with location and posing when I need to. I am looking forward to their summer wedding next year!
