Who says backyard weddings have to be small? Cody and Jessica hosted a fun and fresh carnival themed wedding on Jessica's parents ranch in Calistoga, which proved to delight and entertain guests. Twinkly lights were strung, fabric was draped, the popcorn machine was cranking and the fortune teller was on par that night. All in all, it was magical- just ask anyone who attended!
Before I share my favorite photos from that night, I wanted to share my two favorite moments from the wedding. The first was Jessica's father, Teddy, seeing his daughter dressed as a bride for the first time. Among a crowd of family, he stood with tears welling in his eyes as she descended the stairs. I can only imagine what he felt seeing his daughter for the first time that day.
The second moment was during the ceremony. The wedding aisle was "L" shaped and lined with hay bales that all of the guests sat on. When Jessica and her father were just about to turn the bend to walk down the aisle to the alter, Jessica took a peek around the turn to get a look at her groom waiting for her.

This post is dedicated to Roany, Jessica's sweet horse who passed last Sunday. He was 32 years old, and was there to see Jessica and Cody get married. R.I.P Roany.
